December 15, 200421 yr I'm running FS9.1, CH manager 3.5, I have a CH yoke and pro pedals installed. The pedals and yoke work fine (after much trial and error!), but I can not get a few keyboard features to work like "center ailerons & rudder", which is typically num 5. Numbers 4, 5, 6, 8, and 2 do not work. num 9 and 3 DO work to control engine speed. If I hit CTRL 4 and Ctrl 6, the aileron trim buttons, they work. I've been in the assignments screen a zillion times. I've even tried assigning the centering feature to an unused button. It won't work. I've tried disabling the joystick (CTRL-K). No joy. In device manager (XP SP1), there is a HID keyboard, as well as the original keyboard device. I tried deleting the HID keyboard. No difference. I re-booted, and the OS found the HID again. I've kept it, even though I don't know what it's for.I'm running CH manager in the direct mode.I can't think of anything to add, so please ask pertinent questions.Oh, BTW, I know all about turning numlock off...David
December 15, 200421 yr Hi David, welcome to the forum. I wish that I could help you but I have no ideas. My setup is similar to yours but I don't recall what version or CHCM that I am running. The only keys that I use are rudder keys (0, 5, and Enter) to make small adjustments as I taxi, but those work fine. Sorry that I can't think of anything. R-
December 15, 200421 yr Hi, Ron:thanks for the welcome. I'm most perplexed by the fact that I haven't found any other similar complaint by Googling. The other strange thing that happens in FS is that the rudder pedal assignments dialog box won't save the advanced options; once I exit the screen, it reverts to simple settings. I've even toyed with the idea of reinstalling FS9, but that's really my last resort--besides which, I bet it won't change anything.David
