my mb is a gigabyte ga-x58a-ud7 with i7 970 cpu i want to change my gtx560ti card for the gtx 770 4 g

apart from the length would it be compatible with my board my next query is the pricing i see this has been raised in another post. i have checked most of the 4gb cards the price range is terrific, dealer A,cost £283 dealer B cost £378 on offer. this was like for like on a gigabyte card. seemingly the price does not indicate a better card.i will be most grateful for any help in making a choice may i also wish the avsim staff and all my readers a very happy christmas
