White terrain reflections

Just did a nice and calm flight in Norway and when I came close to water, it looked as if the terrain reflection didn't work. All I could see were clouds being reflected. When I came closer and compared the reflection to the actual clouds, I noticed the terrain was being reflected but EXACTLY as white as the clouds! It wasn't until I got very close, passing the scenery, that I could see the terrain actually being reflected.

Do you also have this? I was using special effects at medium and set them to high but that didn't help. I have the water quality at medium but changing that also made no difference.
