Auto Load Flight Plan

Featured Replies

I am using a networked setup.  Everything is working fine except the flight plan auto load.  I have that checked in the settings but can't make ASN auto load the flight plan.  What am I missing?

Hi,

During our testings, we noted that for ASN (on the client machine) to be notified about a newly loaded flight plan, 2 things should happen:

- First, the respective fsx dialog "ok" button should be clicked (so that fsx will trigger the notification).

- The path to the flight plan file should be on the dedicated flight plan folder (or a shared resource at least). If the latter is the issue, then you should have on the log an entry like: "Unable to auto-load FSX flight plan -FileName- Make sure the file is on the dedicated flight plans directory"

We were also reported some issues related to EFB not being able to push the flight plan, so I am not sure what exactly is your specific issue. If the above don't help, please provide more details (best way to open a support ticket on HiFi forums), so that we can investigate.

Thanks!

Well the path was the problem.  For whatever reason, ASN put the wrong path into the registry.  I edited the registry and all is working as it should.  Thank you.
