Question regarding advanced wind in FS2002

Hi folks and seasons greetings, I have just got myself a flight wizz wheel one of those flying computers that work out wind calulations for you on e/bay and have been practicing with it doing cross country VFR flights setting the wind in the advanced weather in F/Sim, if I set the wind to 358/15knts up to 1500ft then start flying, then to see what the wind is doing I press shift Z to get the get the wind info to show on the top of the screen when flying, but the problem is it never shows the winds I have set the sim to, with the above winds it shows 354/08, thinking this may be due to the wind being lighter on the ground I tried flying at 1500ft but its just the same, but the winds I have set into advanced weather seem to be the ones the sim uses going by the flights I have done when going by my wizz wheel, has anybody else noticed this.Regards Nick in the UK.
