January 2, 200521 yr I have pasted this from another post just to see whether anyone could add to it. It relates to the other post about keeping interested in simming and I wondered if this idea had any merit and I'd be interested to read any responses. I don't see this as an adventure-type add-on but more a utility like fsscreen which can easily be turned on or off as you choose and would just create random problems for you; kind of compressing reality.>>What I would like to see modelled is an Emergency program which >>can make all sorts of things happen or not as you fly. I know >>there is something in FS9 which can make an engine fail etc etc, >>but this program would be one in which you would never know quite >>what was going to happen or when->>Passenger falls ill and you have to divert...>>Airport you are going to shut due to fire in terminal and you have to divert...>>An engine packs up suddenly, but is an intermittent fault- should >>you carry on?..>>There are a thousand things that could be included and you'd never >>again know if you'd land where you'd got clearance to! >>You could of course turn it off if you had somewhere particular to >>go!Thanks for reading
January 2, 200521 yr Hello, I have this in the works right now but I have planned releases of the following in the near future:1. FS Remote Control - Remote Controller - Module to control programs on a remote machine.2. FS Speak - Module that gives you the ability to talk & interact with the DEFAULT ATC which works when you press either a joystick button just like real aircraft or keyboard button.3. FS Emerergency - Module for Random failures and procedures but you may not have any emergencies either for most flights.I will be posting a website to host these files soon as well.Happy New Year.Carmine http://ftp.avsim.com/dcforum/Images/wave.gif
