Controlling/Batch Setting Winds Aloft In FS9

Featured Replies

While winds can be set up for individual reporting sites, and real-world winds can be imported, I am interested in identifying an app to allow me to define winds over a route and load them without the effort involved in using the one-by-one entry method. If someone can point me towards either a weather package or direct interface with the wind model in FS9, I'd appreciate it.I am running a lab project using FS9 and the PMDG package to look at time-dependent trajectories for air carriers, and this would allow me to fly the city pair trials with defined winds at various flight levels.I'm also interested in 'freezing' the winds and weather for the duration of the flight; however, even setting things for no changes in weather seems to allow some variation. Any comments?Todd
