I would like to use a different weather server than the one FS9 uses. I believe FS9 downloads weather from http://fs2k.zone.com and I would prefer to download the weather from NOAA website. Does anybody know how to do this - or must I buy a specific weather program such as ActiveSky?Thanksmerritt

Yeah, grab Activesky and you can change your server :)

FSMetar will let you download weather from NOAA, AVSIM, and IVAO. Not as good as ActiveWeather, but free: http://personal.telefonica.terra.es/web/fsmetar/
