Been Googling for a bit and not yet found an answer.

Anyone out there running P3D v2.1 *and* the VRInsight GPS *and* on a laptop using a VGA-USB adapter?

Failing that, anyone running a USB-VGA adapter with the GPS?

 

I'm running P3Dv2.1 quite adequately on my laptop, but the VGA port is already in use for my external monitor.

I'd like to get the GPS, but no VGA port for it.

The existing VGA port obscures the DVI port, but I suspect that they couldn't be used at the same time anyway.

Thus I'm wondering about a USB-VGA adapter; surely the graphics 'load' / requirements on the GPS can't be that high?

 

Anyone got any direct experience or advice here?
