Battery in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004

Featured Replies

I have an issue that just popped up that I hope someone can help me with.My battery always remain on now. Any plane, even with the battery switch off. I can reload any default or third-party plane and the battery remains on. I have FSUIPC 3.44. I have tried on and off with the Extend Battery Life option, just to see if this had any effect.Anyone else experience this issue and solve it?If so, please help! Thanks.DaveDell XPS 2.8Ghz P41024 MB DDR RAMATI Radeon 9800 Pro w/128MB RAMSoundblaster Audigy 2Win XP HomeFlight Sim 2004 9.1I have not modified anything in Flight Sim recently. It did work at one time in it's current configuration.

I can only think of one thing. Some planes have a setting in the cfg file for battery power to be always on. You may have selected one of these for your default flight. Try creating a new flight with one of the stock aircraft, then load various other aircraft from there and see if the problem is gone. Otherwise I have no other ideas.

If you havent overwritten it, Go to the default start at Seattle, KESA, in the Cessna. This is the default start and whenever you have a problem with an aircraft or a saved start, revert back to this one then go to the airport of choice with the aircraft of choice. It usually will be reset to the default settings.Joe W.
