February 25, 201412 yr Hello, Well I'm installing AI again to FSX.... had to start from scratch a few months ago and I am installing everything manually to keep an overview so I can replace aircraft and/or repaints better when needed. Anyway here is the problem.... I just installed Garuda Indonesia and that's where I got the potential bad news. During installations with AIFP I am getting the note that some airport codes would be changed (for the new ICAO code ... e.g. WRRR to WADD). First I thought.... that's nice... this is done automatically so don't have to worry about it. Well after installing new AI airlines I always run FSX and view the busiest airports of the airline to see if I installed everything correctly and be sure I haven't missed anything in the *.cfg files as this can be a pain to correct afterwards, especially when so many AI are already installed. So I check Indonesian airports for Garuda and WARR no traffic (2nd busiest in Indonesia in terms of movement)... WADD I just saw a Singapore even though AIFP tells me it will consider changing WRRR to WADD or does it just alter the Airport*.cfg files and ignore the flightplans? Do I have to correct every single flightplan that has outdated ICAO codes manually or is there some other tricks I can use? It's going to be a pain to check every single flightplan for that, considering WRRR/WADD isn't the only ones from the 70+ flightplans I have installed and I don't even remember all of them. Anyway if you have some tips or idea I would be very thankful :-) Best regards, Chris Ok I just found the "quick" solution for this :-). I'm going to post it here for other who may be interested. Open AIFP --> Open the Traffic_*.bgl fil --> Click Flight Plan menu --> Convert airports for FSX and then recompile. That did it for me. I'm going to have to open every traffic file for this, but it's still more comfortable than having to manually scan through every single flightplan. Best regards, Chris Amadeo Araujo
