How to make a panel follow the GPS route?

Recommended Posts

Friends :)One of the panels I have does not have the ability to lock-on to the GPS-generated route and follow it (like the default FS9 panels do).I fiddled with the panel.cfg and added the default Cessna NAV switch (on the autopilot panel), NAV-GPS switch & the GPS itself. But all of these have no effect in flight. The GPS displays the flight plan but the plane will not turn and follow the magenta line despite me pressing the NAV switch and selecting "GPS" with the NAV-GPS switch :(I got a feeling theres more to all of this than simply sticking those lines into the panel.cfg and would really appreciate some pointers on how to make this work! Many thanks :)

I think you need to change some sections in the aircraft.cfg, there is an (Autopilot) section with many different variables, maybe one of those controls this function.Dan.
