Is there any way to change an aircrafts sound config that is alaised to an FS9 base aircraft? I downloaded and have been trying out a Hind-v helicopter. It is very nice with VC and all, but its sound is alaised to the FS9 205b. I tried changing the sound file to a heavyer chopper with no luck (no sound) Tried installing a whole new sound file and also alaising it to a different one with no luck. Any advise please.

You should be able to alias to any sound file. Make sure the line in your sound config is correct and leads directly to the sound file you desire. Sometimes I have made the mistake of putting a "/" where it should be a "". Hope this helps.Jim
