FSX Full screen with DP

Featured Replies

Hello guys,

Congratulations for this soft, i would like to know if it is possible to set FSX in full screen mode with DP?

Can i use DP in another PC than where fsx is installed?

thanks again

Hello,

You certainly can.

Just minimize the client or server after setting it up and use alt+enter to max-minimize fsx.

If you would like to run DP on another computer, you will have to install the included SimConnect.msi on the pc that is not running fsx. "Desk Pilot 1.4.3(Free)\DP Compatibility Tester\SimConnect Client\SimConnect.msi"

You also need to download and edit these files http://desk-pilot.com/Download/SimConnect%20LAN.zip - Open both of them and change the ip address to the pc running fsx.

FSX PC: Paste the SimConnect.xml file in C:\Users\YourUsername\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\FSX

Other PC: Paste the SimConnect.cfg file the windows Documents folder.

thank you very much, will try this afternoon when i will go back home and let you know the result.

congrats again :-)

ps: i am already using simconnect to use ivap and another website client (fsairlines) from my laptop. Is there any conflict? Do i need to use your *.cfg and *.xml on my config, or i just have to edit them to add changes for DP?

I guess if you already have simconnect installed and setup on your laptop then you should be good to go.

If your using the shared cockpit feature over the internet and you're using a router you will need to port forward 60000 to the laptop not the fsx machine.
