When creating an IFR flight in flightplaner, how do you get fsx to position the airplane on the ramp instead of automatically putting it on the active runway?

On the Select Departure Airport screen in the Planner look in the lower right for the Choose Runway/Starting Position drop down window. Pick a suitable gate and that is where you will be placed.
