In my C/program files, FS9 aircraft folder, I see a number of a/c I have installed..but when I fire up fs9, thses a/c do not show up in the a/c dropdown menu? There are many a/c that I had saved and then copy, pasted..is there a way to maike these a/c show, I have many and it is a lot of work the other way, to reinstall?ThanksMike

Every plane that shares a ui_type description with other planes has to have a unique name in the ui-variation line in the aircraft.cfg. Any that are duplicated either won't show up or may in some cases show up instead of an original or earlier installed plane. It is easy to change the names and save in Notepad but could take a while to check all the aircraft folders for unwanted matches if you have many add ons. I believe there are programs that can check these sort of errors but I'm not sure how effective they are. AI planes are usually configured to not show up in the selections. This can be altered in the airfile but AI planes are not usually worth the bother for anything other than their intended purpose.
