February 16, 200521 yr Hello, I have downloaded some aircrafts from AVSim library that offer animated doors, etc. It also offer 'passenger wingviews'. The problem is that the author did not state in their "read me" document on what keys to use for wingviews? Does anyone know? Erik Diamond
February 16, 200521 yr Wingviews are on the number pad.Make sure the NumLock light is illuminated on your keyboard and then use the numpad to see the wingviews.
February 16, 200521 yr Something important to also point out. Depending on the aircraft, you may need to edit the view parameters in the panel.cfg. Many jet aircraft offer wing views, for example, but the designer leaves it to the user to determine how they want to apply them. Some users like to look at the wing in the same manner a passenger would, whereas others like to see it from a pilot's perspective. The panel.cfg has to be edited accordingly if a pax view is what the user wants, as most designer's opt for the pilot's perspective by default.-John
February 16, 200521 yr Thank you guys, to save me some time, can you tell me which airplane I could download which will come with wingview config already installed or if I need to download a seperate wing view config to be edit with panel. I think something like Utlimate wing view but i could not seem to find a specific airpline by opensky. Are they any good? Thanks,Erik Diamond

February 16, 200521 yr I downloaded iFDG A320 , then open the panel.cfg, there is not much in there. Then i checked to find where views are located at, its in aircraft.cfg. Is that right? REgardless, when I copy and paste new view, should i replace it with default view command or under it? Erik DImaond
February 17, 200521 yr No...just put them in the PANEL.CFG *not* aircraft.cfg :)Overwrite any existing views section.
