May 22, 201412 yr Hi everyone, Currently use Dxtory for recording gameplay, FSX included. However I have for a while had my eye on the avermedia HD Live Gamer PCI Card. I bought one, installed in and here are the issues... I use 3 monitors of equal spec, model etc. The centre one is my fsx monitor/game monitor and is connect via HDMI to the GPU. the other two screens are DVI connected. When i link the capture card into the centre monitor using a hdmi cable, the resolution on the screen changes. Icons look larger than normal, and generally the type of thing you would see if you run the desktop at low res. Games are the same, looks like its magnified etc etc. The image quality on the other two screens suffers too. Where as without the card active, the text and gfx on all screens are very clean, crisp and sharp, where as when the cards on, the gfx look very fuzzy and blurry and generally not right. How other monitors are effected I dont know given signal is coming straight out the back of the gpu. Normally the monitors run at 75hz. The capture card has a max of 60hz. All monitors change to 60hz when the card is connected so that cannot be the issue either. I have also checked all settings are set to 1920 x 1080 in windows, the catalyst control centre, and reccentral itself. It cant be a windows 8 issue as i know of users who use 8.1 with the card and its all fine for them. Its also win 8 certified and compatible also. My GPU is an Radeon R9 290x 4GB and Im also on windows 8.1 Getting nowhere with avermedia tech support. Just wondering if anyone can shed any light? Dan
