I am having a problem with FSX in that it will not save any of my joystick settings. 

 

If I set up my control axes and buttons they only work with that session of FSX, when I go back to FSX after closing down and running it again everything is lost. I have tried saving the settings file but this does not work either. It seems to save everything else but not controls.

 

Has anyone had this before?

 

Also I have just bought the new X-55 Rhino, and for the life of me I can't get the throttle to idle in any aircraft. Any ideas?

 

Just thought I would add the problem with saving the settings is not linked to the new controller as it happened with my old controller too.

 

Any help is greatly appreciated
