Saitek Combat Rudder Not Recognized As Such Anymore

I installed and reinstalled Windows 8.1 a few times on my PC lately. Until now whenever I plugged in my Saitek Combat Rudder pedals, it would show up on the game controller CP and P3D as Saitek Combat Rudder pedals. However, after reinstalling W8.1 again today it shows up as a nameless device:

 

Axes: 3 knobs: 0 joystick

 

In P3D I also had to remove a few axes while before P3D recognized the controller and set it up as it should.

 

Anyone knows what caused this? The 'funny' thing is that I reinstalled my OS once more because I thought I made an error somehow somewhere but no... the controller still shows up like a generic device.

 

Anyone has a solution for this?
