Directx Install Error.. Black screen display

After the installation is finished I'm prompted to update directx in order for the 737 to work properly. So when I try to install it I get this message: 

A cabinet file necessary for installation cannot be trusted. Please verify the Cryptographic Services are enabled.

So the directx installation fails. And when I try to fly the plane all of the display screens are black and nothing in the cockpit works. 

Could I fix this by uninstalling fsx and trying to install the PMDG again on a clean fsx?
