August 24, 201411 yr Hello there, I have a strange problem that is giving me headaches for weeks now. So right to it: I set a route in the FMC, select SID's and STARS etc. and everything is going well. Then I select for example a 26k Thrust settings and go to the takeoff page. There I enter the calculated v-speeds and as soon as i enter the v2 speed, the FMC gives me an "UNABLE NEXT ALTITUDE" error. I know this is due to an altitude restricion in the selected SID. The real problem is that the FMC now calculates a very low climb rate and thinks he can't reach that very altitude restriction. But i flew that SID manually and had to realise that it is perfectly doable. I really don't get it. I would love some help, since i couldn't find a solution yet. I hope i'm making a simple beginners mistake. Greetings, Tony
