What VECTOR Configuration Tool settings are you using?

I bought Vector (and OpenLC) and will install both this evening (P3D 2.3: I already own Global). I was wondering in the meantime what settings you are all using in the VECTOR Configuration Tool. Maybe by now there is consensus on what most people find enjoyable when it comes to detail vs realism vs performance? Just curious.  I know I can try all possible combinations myself but I rather fly right away without having to test everything (done too much testing in the past).  I remember a lot of complaints about for instance the underlays when there wasn't yet a tool to remove them and I wonder if everyone removed them or kept them anyway. Things like that.
