Hello,I just did a complete re-install of FS9. Now the default plane/flight is the Cessna 172 and the engines are always running, and Weather is fair.For some reason, if I set the flight up as I want it (engines off, real weather on, etc.) and save this as my default flight, when I restart FS9, it's back to the same old engines running fair weather flight! I've never had this problem in the past.Any ideas?Thanks!Jeff

Save the flight with another name and make it your default flight from there. Can't remember exactly but there are a couple of spots where you can save your flight as default. If one doesn't work, try the otherHope this helps

FS9.cfg needs to be UNCHECKED as `read only`.Allcott
