Best Sound set for 737NG?

Featured Replies

Hi all,Just wanted your opinions on which soundset is best to use with my PMDG 737NG. I like the standard PMDG ones, but i think they could be a bit more rough sounding if that makes any sense. I've tried a few sets in the file library, but I've yet to find a set that really hits the spot.Any suggestions?ThanksAdeyhttp://members.lycos.co.uk/electronicplayg...0easydriver.jpg

Des Brabans set is very popular have you tried that one?Check this topic:http://tinyurl.com/bjd9c

I have downloaded a couple as well. I am starting to piece them together. I am still looking for some great CFM sounds. Later I am going to try the Dreamfleet engine sounds (original GA 737-400). I am not using it in FS 2004, so I might as well get some use out of some of the sounds. If you downloaded the set from the library that was posted today, assign 'fuses.wav' to the rollout. Very funny. Dennis

Thanks your your replies,I've recently reverted back to the original PMDG sounds after using Des Braban's sounds for the last few months. I think his CFM sounds too weak, although his engine starts flow smoothly.I've tried mix and matching too, but still can't get what I'm looking for.http://members.lycos.co.uk/electronicplayg...0easydriver.jpg
