Lost Default Aircraft?

Featured Replies

I quess I messed up someplace, but have lost my Mooney Bravo and my Beech Baron 58...just wonder what is the easiest way to get them back ??Any help greatly appreciated.Jim

More than likely since an aircraft is rather large you did not lose it but rather it was probably stolen. Why don't you call the police and they can start a search for it? Oh wait, we aren't talking about real airplanes? I am sorry! :-lol I could not resist, sorry. I would help you but off the top of my head I do not remember where they are on the disks, I think it is disk one, and I am not at home right now to look. If no one else answers by the time I get home I will post the answer here.Best of luck and I am sorry about the bad humor!Philip Olsonhttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/supporter.jpg

Philip,Thought that was real funny...but don't think the Mesa PD would appreciate it..but it was humerous !!ThanksJim

Well I am glad that you laughed! Ok, both of those aircraft are located on CD 1 in the file MSGAME1.CAB. Just put in your CD use Windows Explorer to find MSGAME1.CAB and click on it to open, just scroll down until you find those files and extract them to your aircraft directory, if you have the use folder names option checked then just extract them to your root FS9 directory. I am going to assume that the gauges for these aircraft are still in the gauges folder, if the gauges do not display then let me know and I can tell you where those are located because they are not on CD 1. Hope this helps!Take care,Philip Olsonhttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/supporter.jpg

Hi Philip,Many thanks for your response again to my problem..appears that I do need the guages for both the Mooney and the Baron...sure do appreciate your help !!!Oh...should tell you that the Mesa PD had no luck locating either Aircraft !!Thanks muchJim

Apparently the Mesa PD isn't all that great if they can not find something as large as two missing aircraft! :-lol Well you are in luck because the Avsim PD is here to help, and we can always find your missing aircraft! :-) Ok the gauges are located on Disk 2 in MSGAME3.CAB, the gauges are the first things listed in that CAB file. You should be all set now so call Mesa PD and call off the search. I have one question though, why didn't the Mesa PD take you into custody when you where filing the report? :-lolTake care,Philip Olsonhttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/supporter.jpg

Hi Phil,Well, this Mesa Arizona PD folks are fine people, but for some reason told me that they would like to have me think about my report of two missing AC...ya think they thought I was nuts ???Well anyhoo..I thank you for all your help..all is back to normal..and my Beech Bonanza now also has all its proper swithches (gets em from the Mooney)..again many thanks !!Jim
