P-38 Lightning problem

Featured Replies

I installed both the P-38J & L by David C. Copley. The L model is great but I like some of the textures on the J model. My problem is that the J models VC gauges are blurry. The L models VC gauges are nice and sharp. Can someone tell me what may be wrong with the J models VC.

I'm currently updating the J/F-5 pack so they will be up to the same standards as the recent L. For now, open the panel.cfg file and find the VCockpit sections and change all lines that say 'size_mm=256,256' to read 'size_mm=1024,1024' this will help with the blurries but may drag performance a bit. They will be fixed to be crisp, smooth and better performance in the update (along with the new VC, and other goodies.)- dcc

Great. I did look at the panel configs and saw the mm= size difference but wanted to ask here before making any changes. Thanks.

David I have your P-38s and think they are really outstanding. I dislike the comparisions to payware so I will not make any such comments. I think that add-ons should be judged by their merits and not their price...if any...and the merits of your work is teriffic.Having said that, I am basically a 2D guy but will look forward to your improvements on the 3D side anyway.THANKS for your great work!Regards,Jim
