Sudden Frame Rate Hit

Featured Replies

It's happened again. Loving life, enjoying great frame rates when suddenly my frame rates have gone south. I've tried a few things to no avail. Any suggestions? It's the same for all aircraft.steveg

I think we need a bit more to go on. System specs, MSFS settings, what your fps were before/after and under what conditions, recent driver changes, program installs, and so on. The only time I've ever heard of performance suddenly going south with NO intervention by the users is when their system gets hit with spyware or a virus after mistyping a url or something similar. Spyware is notorius for killing performance, and Spybot and Adaware don't always catch it. But first, we need a bit more. Also, if you're familiar with Hijackthis, create a log and attach it to your reply. Many users here (including myself) are IT professionals as well as avid simmers, and we may be able to help.-John
