May 25, 200521 yr Hello,I use fsnav and have acouple questions in relation the general use of FS9.I am not used to the GPS. I tend to nav using the methods of VOR's NDB's and the like. I guess I am accepting GPS is a must. I have found some redundences in fsnav and the GPS in FS9. Q1. I was wanting to know if you create a plan in fsnav will it show in the GPS like it will if the plan was created in the FS9 planner. The goal is to creaate the plan in one area and have it show in all nav tools to assist durring the transition. Q2. In the ral world cockpits to pilots have a tool (other than TCAS) to see or be aware of other aircraft in non-emergency situations. Or, do they reley sloely on the air traffic control and their radar systems.Q3. Is their any other tutorial around for FS9 that helps you about the full functions of the GPS and FS9 other than the 40 some pages of manual with in the Sim.? I tell ya, I was lucky I found the manual, as I was unaware that it weas down in there. Stupid me.Thanks for any Ideas.
May 25, 200521 yr I'll answer question 1 and leave the other two to someone with wider knowledge of those subjects.Q1. I was wanting to know if you create a plan in fsnav will it show in the GPS like it will if the plan was created in the FS9 planner. The goal is to creaate the plan in one area and have it show in all nav tools to assist durring the transition.Once you've created your plan in FSNav, you can export the plan in several formats including FS2004's .pln format which can then be loaded in FS to show up in the GPS
