Flight Simulator Files

Featured Replies

Is there anyway to move the default directory "Flight Simulator Files" out of My Documents? I read somewhere on here that you just cut and paste the folder somewhere else, but all that does is re-creates the folder back in My Documents.Any ideas?

No, you're right, it will just create a new folder back in My Documents (it will do this even if you change the "SITUATION=" path in fs9.cfg).I'm curious why you want to do this?

I like to keep the My Documents folder nice and clean, and that folder doesn't work for me.

If I'm not mistaken, this is a common theme implemented by Microsoft in their applications. My Documents is a subset of Documents and Settings which is where MS places many of its config and backup files. It puts commanality amoung all of the MS applications.
