I want to make a small pic I have from king Air 350 plane appear at the end of each post or comment I make here at Avsim. I thought it would be taken care of under user options in trhe signature profile/preference areas. But it was not. I even tried to cut and paste the pic to make it appear at the end of each entry I make. I looked around for some help topics and did not see any. I am sure they exsist. In the intrest of saving time by not having read several pages to find out how this is done is there a couple of steps that would allow me to accomplish this. I see them all the time here. The one that comes to mind is the PMDG Menber logo many members use at the end of there post/comments here here. I guess one could also call these banners, I am unsure. I also would imagine there is a size limit as to keep things running smooth here.Thank you for any help.Mark.

I am trying to post a pic from airliners dot net or com. Anyway I paid for a membership there, and have noticed people posting pics from there elsewhere and making sure all cridets are left in tact across the bottom of the pic. I noticed here you can attach a pic as long as it is 150 kb or smaller. I wonder if the size of 150 kb is also the rule for those placing the PMDG banner as part of there signature or if banners ie signatures are allowed to be over 150kb.Anyway if another site like airliners is where the pic comes from must you still get another site to be its host. I am not attempting to break any copy laws. Thus lets use another example of a picture borrowed from another site that lets your copy the pic and place it with all crdits left. Better way to ask I hope: Q 1. Lets keep it more simple. If I find a pic that I want to use lioke others have the PMDG banner besides there name, how should it be accomplished. IE... once you have a pic from a host site then how do you make it part of your signature each time. I assume this is what the others a clicking on to include the PMDG beside there names each time they post.Q 2. Last question, Dose tha picture from another site still have to be placed in another "host" site?I hope this makes things less compicated.Thanks.Mark.

Hi,1. Copy the url of the photo by right clicking on the picture, scrolling to Properties, highlight the address and Ctrl/C.2. Go to the User menu and Edit your profile.3. Paste the url into the signature box.4. Click Update.The picture should show up in your posts. Yes the size rule still in in effect!Need to check with the host site.
