Looking for a scenery expert

Featured Replies

After a couple of years, I decided to add some new add-ons to my FS2004. I only have the Real Scene 2004 Mesh for the USA and posessions (on DVD) added on now. I was thinking of adding, FS Globel Mesh and some of PC Aviators Megacity scenery also. Would this be a good mix of "scenery" or if not, please advised what a better mix of scenery/ mesh ( freeware or purchased)/ airports would be? Thanks for your time and effort. Jerrycwo4

Jerry, yes... it's a good mix. The global mesh will increase the depth and detail of your mountains and valleys. Going from FS2004 default mesh to 76m mesh will be quite an eye opener. You'll be saying "what have I been missing all these years"! ;)A nice tutorial explaining mesh can be found at www.fs-traveler.comThe MegaCity (or MegaScenery) will add 'photoreal' (either from satellite imagery, space shuttle, or aerial photos), textures which lay upon the terrain mesh.Hope that helps

MUST READING FOR EVERYONE !!!!!!!!The next time that you feel like complaining about any fascet of Flight Simulator, just get out your copy of the "Flight Sim History" (you did make a copy of it, didn't you?) and realise how GREAT it is today, compared to..... a long time ago. We are really luckly to have such a GREAT Flight Simulator that we have today !!!!!! Thanks also for the great job of making this small Flight Sim History Movie.Jerrycwo4
