June 1, 200521 yr Here's the scenario:The other day I created a flight in the Mooney Bravo, and in my Realism settings, I had unchecked the "unlimited fuel" option. As I approached my destination, the left fuel tank was only half full, and the right tank was completely full. And I had autopilot turned on. Anyway, I saved the flight so I could come back to it later. And I did *not* select the option to "save as default flight."The next day, I created some entirely new flights in different aircraft and different airports. In all cases, as I rolled down the runway, the plane was always off-balance and my control stick was unresponsive. I thought it was a problem with my joystick, so stupid me, I went out and bought a brand-new joystick! Then, it occurred to me that as I started new flights, the autopilot was always on and the fuel tanks were off-balance. In other words, these were the same settings as the flight that I saved earlier! So, apparently FS2004 remembers the aircraft configuration of the last saved flight, and applies it to any and all future flights in different aircraft and locations. Is this right? How can I prevent this from happening? My only fix was to start one of the default saved flights ("Book signing in Providence") where everything was "clean," save it, then all future flights would have everything back to normal. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
