June 7, 200520 yr How do I uninstall FSNAV Trial period SoftwareCould someone educate me please without me banging up my FS Thanks Again and Again and Again,
June 7, 200520 yr You got to be kidding me!!!(UGH) Will that also jack up my add-ons I have installed? Thanks,
June 7, 200520 yr No, in fact, it will not uninstall FSNav...When you uninstall FS, it leaves all addon's right where they are. That way if necessary, you can reinstall FS, without losing them.AS I have been using FSNav for years, and feel it is the BEST addon that I have, have never had occasion to uninstall it. Ver 3.0 is Free, even if I could not afford FSNav, I'd still be using it. (In fact, cant afford it, but saved an allowance long enough to get it.) Now it has been so long that Im using it, cant even recall what I paid for it. Look in the folder where it is installed, and see if there is an uninstall icon. If not, go into Start, Control Panel, Add/or Remove Programs, and remove it there.http://www.cafepress.com/SW_ART
June 7, 200520 yr Thanks Gents, I am kinda wondering if I should have bought FSNAV instead of FSBUILD...This FSBuild is giving me a fit...Well plus it's new to me... (will see...

Incidentally, uninstalling FSNav is only a matter of uninstalling in Control Panel.
June 7, 200520 yr Yep, as simple as that. Although you might want to check that fsnav.dll is removed fromthe MOdules folder and that the entire FSNavigator folder is gone. There isn't anything in FS Nav that would require a reinstall to fix. It's a stand-alone module inside FS. Remove the module, you remove the package, apart from outstanding registry entries that may be left behind, and they don't affect FS at all.Allcott
June 8, 200520 yr That's the first time I ever heard of having to reinstall FS9 when uninstalling an ad on. Bit of overkill, I would say..
