Trouble with FA18 and Flight Deck 3

Featured Replies

Hi everyone. This is my first post, so hope someone can help me.I have downloaded the sensational FA/18 Super Hornet by Daisuke Yamamoto, and have also purchased Flight Deck 3 by abacus publishing for use with MS FS2004. Maybe it's my incompetence, but I'm having a huge amount of trouble landing on the carrier deck without crashing. Believe me, I'm no expert. But I have no trouble putting it down on the piano keys of any runway, but when it comes to a carrier deck, I can't seem to do it without crashing. Sometimes I make what I consider to be a perfect approach and landing, ArrCab will pull me up, but then my nose comes down and I crash at 0kts! Time and time again I've tried with the same frustrating results. Is anyone else having the same problem? Does anyone have any advice at all? Any help would be greatly appreciated.Darren.

Hi DarrenI fly also with a FA18 and my landings on a aircraft-carrier are allways good. Maybe your plane is too heavy. For landing I do the following things :1
