Do you think it would be difficult putting the mindstar g1000 in the DA-42? I was just wondering because of the 3d knobs it might be difficult.

Yes I think it would be problematic putting it in because of a lack of alignment of the knobs and buttons.

 

You could perhaps use it as a pop-up, but I know not many are keen to do this.
