March 13, 201511 yr This is neither here nor there, but a thing I'm curious about... On the STAT page during APU start, when APU is switched to ON the lowest I've ever seen the APU Oil Temp at is ~50C, regardless of ambient temperature (during long turns the oil temp would drop to ambient). Once the APU EGT starts to rise the Oil Temp starts to rise from ~50C as well, pretty much immediately, leading me to think the simulated APU is coded to "rest" at 50C when the APU is off. Is this a limitation of the PMDG 777, i.e. APU oil temp dropping to ambient is not modelled, or is there something in the real aircraft that prevents readings below 50C on the APU oil temp? Again, not terribly pressing, but I am interested and haven't been able to find anything on the web. Daniel Hamilton
