Scenery textures with hard edges

Featured Replies

I am running FS9 with an AMD 2700, 1 gig of RAM, and an FX5200 video card. Kind of a low end system but it has been performing beautifully until recently when all of a sudden all of my scenery textures have hard edges. The system is no longer dithering between different landclass textures and instead of blending them they have sharp edges around the texture cells for landclass. At first I suspected a file conflict since I have been heavily involved in the scenery project over at http://fs-freeflow.com/ . Does anyone have any suggestions? Do you think this sounds like a hardware problem and could a video card start doing that when some part of it fails? Thanks for any suggestions or things to try.I have:1. checked all settings that I know of in the Flight Simulator Software2. Uninstalled and reinstalled the video drivers, 71.89Looking for ideas. Thanks.120296.jpg

Boy is my face red. The problem stems from the fact that I downloaded and installed some custom scenery textures. The first day of summer triggered the problem. The summer textures must be faulty.
