News Item: There are less than 70 days remaining until FlightSimCon 2015! As the countdown continues, FlightSimCon is happy to announce that Austin Meyer, creator of X-Plane, will be speaking at the event. Austin will provide an introduction to X-Plane for users of FSX-based platforms and will share the latest X-Plane developments.

Also speaking at FlightSimCon is Richard Fucci, former naval aviator and past president of Freedom’s Wings International. After being partially paralyzed in an aviation accident, Richard learned to fly modified gliders, and now teaches other persons with disabilities to fly. Richard will talk about his incredible story and discuss Condor, a flight simulation program for glider training.

Richard and Austin join more than 15 other flight simulation and aviation experts on our extensive list of speakers.

Since our last update in mid-March, four new exhibitors have been confirmed for the event:

- GoFlight, manufacturer of custom FSX panels and controls

- App developer Appropel

- Hotseat Chassis’ Edustation

- Take Flight Simulations’ Nathan Palmer, and his ‘sim-pit’ (click here for video!)

Attendees of the conference are welcome to purchase tickets to the FlightSimCon Dinner, taking place on Saturday, June 13 at Skyline Restaurant, a short ride from the airport. Tickets will be available for purchase on-site for . Many of the event’s exhibitors will be attending the dinner, making it a great opportunity to connect with some of the best flight simulator developers in a more relaxed setting.

Finally, FlightSimCon is grateful to the many media partners that have helped spread the word about our conference. This month, we announced new publicity deals with Just Flight and Sky High Radio. In addition to sharing information about the conference, Fly Away Simulation is also sending giveaway prizes to be included in the conference bags all attendees receive.

As North America’s only flight simulation conference, FlightSimCon is a great opportunity for fans of the platform to get to know each other. Attendees are travelling from as far as California, Canada, and even Europe to attend this event, and the conference hopes you will too!
