fs9 interface problems, black areas, solution ?

hello,at first a picture.http://www-e.uni-magdeburg.de/tbonin/pic/select.jpghere you see the standard aircraft selection screen. as you see the preview window is black. although when i move the mouse cursor outside the "blue area" from the fs9 window the mouse cursor disappears.i guess this problem shows up in other areas as well. like the default fs9 chat window. and in third party windows like ivap.http://www-e.uni-magdeburg.de/tbonin/pic/black.jpgas you see here, the ivap window causes a black area that starts at the height of the ivap window covering the whole area under it.i've read endless posts and googled around but there was no real solution for this problems. i heard from various users that they experienced the same and the only solution was reinstalling windows xp completely.so the question is, what causes these problems ? graphic card drivers, the WDM-driver update causing the direct-draw drivers to change ? or tools like window blinds or style xp change the default appereance of application windows in win xp ?i have no clue, hope you can help!regards, tom.
