OceanFX users: water-colour change with clouds?

Featured Replies

Hello simmers http://www.smileys.ws/sm/action/00000065.gifI use the excellent OceanFX in FS9 and its worked wonders on my water (Avsim download ID:34456)It does however show some interesting behaviour. Its not a problem but I was just wondering if anyone else is experiencing the same thing and if a fix is out there. The colour of the water changes *dramatically* when I fiddle with the clouds. Lets say I have a cumulus layer at 10,000ft, the water is a nice turquoise colour. If I nudge the cumulus layer upto 12,000 ft the water turns a very deep blue...and in some cases it almost looks black.http://www.smileys.ws/sm/confused/00000001.gifBut if I add a stratus or cirrus layer at say FL400 it jumps back to turquoise again...but not all the time. Sometimes it just gets a lighter shade of blue.Like I said...not a life & death issue but it sometimes makes the water look like it came out of a cartoon! If any of you have found a work-around...I would be grateful! Many thanks http://www.smileys.ws/sm/action/00000019.gif
