HelloAfter successfully installing the new Flight Environment patch, I found that whereas prior to doing so, when I selected the Random setting, I was presented with the main menu page, indicating which cloud types, water etc. had been chosen. Now however, I was directed straight into the main Flight Sim programme, unable to discern what delights were awaiting me.For those who may have witnessed the same situation, may I direct you to the letter I posted on the forum below, and the excellent, promt reply given by the great guru Peter Wilding.It may be of some help to others.http://www.simforums.com/forums/forum_post...?TID=12652&PN=1Thank you

Will changing the config file also let you run the randomizer without immediatly starting FS9, since I prefer to use FS Autostart to do that?

yes, as far as I know but I've not tried using autostart. It should randomize and close the screen and then use fsautostartPeter

Hello Biggles...Thanks for the posting. I have upgraded to FE 2004-2 and I also enjoy viewing my choices when randomizing. Your posting and FE'S soloution solved the minor problem. FE is a great addon. Thanks again for the posting...TH
