I Need a Hot Air Balloon

Featured Replies

Hi everyone,I'm looking for a Hot Air Balloon for FS2004, but the only relistic one I can find is Bill Lyons' version for FS2002 which do not display correct textures in FS9Does anyone know of a good balloon for FS2004 or a fix for Bill's balloon?ThanksAdeyhttp://members.lycos.co.uk/electronicplayg...0easydriver.jpg

... BUGGER :(

With the exception of the Microflght ones, which are for a different payware sim, the other hits appear to be Bill Lyons' balloon for FS2002, which was made in a version of FSDS that FS2004 doesn't fully support. The thread's author made reference to that in his original post, so I suspect he has seen these offerings here in the library. I am afraid I don't have any answers for the thread's author. Bill Lyons' work is the best that I've seen. Simviation has an ultralights and balloons section but it's been a while since I visited there. It's not a very active MSFS genre since MSFS doesn't simulate lighter than air aircraft that well.-John

While it is not FS2004, Micro Flight does a good job of simulating ultralights and balloons. You can find out more about it athttp://www.hangsim.com/mf/

Thanks for your help guys, but it must be within FS2004. Bill's balloon is by far the best and is what I am after. I can only hope he see's this and updates it for FS2004Thanks Againhttp://members.lycos.co.uk/electronicplayg...0easydriver.jpg
