Premier Aircraft Design TCAS

Featured Replies

Hi,I just installed the PAD Dash 8 and CRJ 700, and from the screenshots they look like fantastic aircraft. But when I try to create a flight with them, FS9 tells me that it can't load the PAD_ILH_TCAS.gau file. Do I need FSUIPC for that plane? Doesn't say so on the website. On a hunch, I also tried defining TCAS2v7.dll and TrafficInfo.dll as old modules in the FS9.cfg file, but that didn't help either. Anyone know how to fix this?

Hi thereI used some of these planes about a year ago and was impressed - I particularly like the DASH8 so it was good to get these. Recently I had to reinstall my FS installation (a process that takes ages with all the addons etc). I installed these planes again and then had exactly the same problem that you describe.Today however, I have managed to get them working and it seems to be down to the TCAS2v7.dll file that you mentioned. This file (and the ini that goes with it) and the GaugeSound.dll that is also in most of these packages go in the main FS directory NOT the modules directory. I made sure that they were not in the modules directory and then put them in the main FS directory, restarted FS and they are now working great.Hope that solves your problem.RegardsTim
