July 31, 200520 yr I hope somebody can possibly help me on this!! At Everett Wash. KPAE I have lost the Boeing assembly plant bldgs. in the scene. I'm sure they were part of the default scene at that airport. I have what looks like a large white area on the ground, where the plant would be, with residential houses sitting on this. In between this area and the ramp area appears to be a 4 lane road. I've added some scenes to KBFI and KTCM in that area and I have tried deleting these and putting them back in Etc. to no avail!! So I'm hoping some one may have suggestions as to what I could try to do here. I also have FS Global, and Real Scene 2004 installed if that would have any effect. Can anyone help me out here?? Thanks..... Dan Green
August 1, 200520 yr I don't believe the Boeing assembly plants are default, Dan.You may want to see if you had installed the Boeing scenery package by Mike Magner. It contains the assembly plants for KPAE, KRNT, and KBFI. In the avsim library with zipfile name:boeingpkg.zipHope that helps you get things sorted out.Happy Flying! :-wave
August 1, 200520 yr Hello! I do have the boeingpkg.zip installed in my add-on scenery folder in a folder I named 'boeing'. However I still do not have the plant showing at KPAE! So now I'm really befuddled on this!! Any thoughts on what I can do or look for as to why the plant does not show?? Thanks much..... Dan Green
August 1, 200520 yr I installed the boeingpkg in my scenery folder as well, named "boeing scenery" and ended up with duplicate AF2_KPAE.bgl's. The other was residing in the "C:Program FilesMicrosoft GamesFlight Simulator 9Addon Sceneryscenery" folder. Maybe that is your problem too?? You will have to choose one or the other (save them outside FS for backups). I honestly can't remember where the other PAE bgl came from...maybe one of Holger's Cascade's landscapes?EDIT: Discovered where the second AF2_KPAE.bgl came from. Robert Shofner's "paine11.zip".
