Autopilot going haywire?

When i have set a route, either with the G1000 or the GTN750 and set the CDI to GPS, when I press NAV on the autopilot, the FD starts turning the plane in circles and not following the vnav path. Some of my friends have the same problem.

 

Anyone with a solution?
