FSNet info- What's the scoop?

Donny AKA ShalomarFly 2 ROCKS!!!Just got DSL on the 'puter I fly on, and one thing I am interested in other than real weather is flying with someone on a different computer in the same plane. Have seen some good and bad stuff about FSNet. Is the final version out? The part about ads on the evaluation version was a little scary. I'd just buy it to start, but not sure if my 533 MGH Pentium III with 32 meg vid card and 192 meg ram can handle it. Do the ads really go away when you buy it? Also heard the ads are displayed in the ATIS text. I have "show ATC text" disabled already, so does that kill the ads? Or did the developer give up on the idea of ads?Is there any other project that can accomplish the same end? Interested in hearing from those who have tried it, except for squawking over aparently voluntary ads unless you pay for the program most posts seem to be positive so far about it as far as I can tell.Best Regards, Donny:-wave
