PADs dash 8

Featured Replies

got their dash 8 a couple of months ago but didn't fly right so i put it on the back burner. fast forward a couple of months, have tweaked out my computer and generally cleaned it up it flies alot better and have been into it for a couple of days now. a bit slower than the big jets it is very smooth and very on the money. will have to come to grips with it's slower speed but it is a fun aircraft to fly. is anyone else flying it? wouldn't mind getting a little discussion going on here about it and or their CRJs. william

I just downloaded the 100 model on Friday, but I haven't flown it yet. I am still finishing up some other stuff in front of it. I have made a few mods, though: RXP Sandel 3308, Weather Radar, and dual GNS 430's. I have ground checked everything, and I will probably take it on its first flight from KMSO to KHLN later this weekend or early next week.Looks like a good plane, so far!

hi steve. sounds cool, keep me posted when you get it up and running. would like to hear how everything works. good luck. william

Will do. Now, there is the hurricane to deal with. I have to get a plane down there to give Active Sky a workout.I hope it goes away and/or nobody gets hurt, but it looks ugly, from here.

it should give your new setup a REAL good workout, especially the weather radar. not a bad idea either. i live in south carolina so i should be pretty much out of it unless it turns in the next few days.good luck steve and will be looking for your PIREP. william

Took the Dash 8-100 from Missoula to Helena tonight. It looks like it has the potential to grow on me, since I like the type a lot.

glad to hear that steve. how long was that flight by the way? it is a nice flying aircraft. william
