August 28, 200520 yr I have been having some crashes to black screen lately, about one every other day ( most with NTDLL.DLL errors) . I have checked everything I can think of, and am wondering if I should delete the FS9 CFG and let it rebuild a new one. I am not anxious to go this route, wondering how long it will take to get everything set back to the way it is now ( minus the crashes of course ;)) Is there any trick people use to plug in all their old settings, or is it just the tedious job of trial and error, going though each one?
August 28, 200520 yr Bob, don't delete your old config file just change its name. Then reatart FS9 and let it build a new one. If this fixes your problem, then exit FS9. Next use Notepad to open your old config file in a window at the top of your screen and the new config file below it. Now you can scroll thru the two versions, cutting and pasting your old settings into you new file. R-
