Can anyone help i have not been able to download anything from the library in 2 days just gets timed out on both firefox and intenet explorerlife without avsim is awful

Having the same problem here for a couple of weeks.Try turning off your firewall when you download a file. It worked for me but the download rate is very slow, around 64 kb/s on cable compared with over 300 on other sites.Judging by the amount of people who are having the problem it seems to be a glitch at the ftp server end, though from what I've read, they don't seem to think so.CheersTimhttp://members.chello.nl/t.westnutt/realair.gif

Thanks for your help i played with the firwall antivirus secuirty settings all i could think of but still no good then last night it was working so it must of been somthing to do with avsims servers

I just dlded a 14mb file (7h30 EDT) at a rate of about 300KBPS+ on a DSL line. For few weeks now, those I made during day time (~ 10 am to 8 or 9 pm) are mostly made at a rate of +/-60KBPS. Hugo
